We have a winner!

I'm sorry I'm just posting our March giveaway winner.  I've been sick this whole weekend and to be honest haven't even been on the computer much at all.  I don't know if I have an inner ear infection or what it is, but I've been so dizzy and sick to my stomach and haven't even felt like eating.  Believe me, if I don't feel like eating, there is definitely something wrong!  LOL  I've literally slept the weekend away.  *sigh*  All those things I wanted to get done will go on the list for next weekend.

Anyway, I got my hubby to be Mr. Pick a Number For Me person, and he picked number 98!  That would be Marlene from Stitching by the Lake.  YAY Marlene!  I will be emailing you shortly.  Congratulations  and  I hope you enjoy your fat quarter bundle.  :0)

Thank you all for playing along, and thank you, Jodie at FWFS for your awesome giveaway!  We will have another one soon.  I also have some finishes to show you, so will post them in a few days.  My framer called and said the 3 pieces I left with them are ready, so I will pick them up this week.  I can't wait to see them and share them with you.

I haven't shared any buglet pictures with you lately, so will show you their first school pictures.  They are growing up way too fast for me!  I don't get to see them near enough to keep up with their changes.

These sweet babies have stolen this LaLa's heart!  I love them so.

Have a most wonderful week, and thank you so much for visiting.  I love it so when you stop by my little part of the world.

March Giveaway Time!

Hi friends!

Today is a beautiful day here in Texas!  Just like a beautiful Spring day.  I so wish it would stay like this, but unfortunately our high humidity, triple digit summer will be here before we know it.  I need to be sure and enjoy it while I can or figure out how to bottle it up.    :0)

It's time for another giveaway!  Are you ready?  Jodie from Fort Worth Fabric Studio has come through again with another lovely fat quarter bundle.  She amazes me!  This one is just in time for Easter and would make an adorable table topper or table runner for your holiday table.  Here is "Easter Basket ~ a bundle full of pastel colors & candies "~ Springtime at it's best"!

She has added these to her website if you'd like to order some.  Go HERE to see them.  She has some awesome new fabrics added to her website, too.  Her service is wonderful and she ships lightning fast!  I love ordering from FWFS.  :0)  My son, DIL and sweet grandbabies live in the same town as her store.  I would LOVE to pop in and waller through all of her pretties!

If you would like to enter to win this lovely fat quarter bundle, here is what to do:

Mandatory:

1.  Leave a comment on this post only telling me what you might like to make with these fabrics.  Please make sure I have a way to get in touch with you if you are the winner.

2.  You must be a follower of my blog.  Leave another comment telling me that you are.

Extra Entries (only if you choose to do them):

3.  Follow FWFS on Facebook.  Leave another comment telling me so.
4.  Sign up for FWFS's newsletter.  Leave another comment.
5.  Follow Fort Worth Fabric Studio on Twitter.  Leave another comment.

So you have 2 mandatory things to do and a total of 5 chances to win if you choose to do the extra ones.

I will keep this open until Saturday, March 10, midnight CST and will announce the winner Sunday, March 11.  Good luck!

I hope everyone has a great week.  What are you working on??  :0)

Lookie, Lookie!!

Several weeks back I received an email from Becky in South Carolina telling me that I had been chosen to receive an awesome RAK (Random Act of Kindness) from her. OH. MY. GOSH. I can't begin to tell you how awesome this is!!  Check this out.  I would definitely say this was an act of kindness and generosity!  First up is the LOVELY box that she stained and then stitched a gorgeous design for the top.  Isn't it beautiful?

I just LOVE it!  She put my first initial and the year.  Love, love, love it, and this design is SOOO me!

Look at all the other goodies that she filled the box with!!  I was just in awe opening all of this.  It was like Christmas in March!  I love the little primitive doll and already know where she will live - on the shelf in my sewing studio with my Raggedy's.  :0)

She also sent an adorable stitched pin cushion and pinkeep - all done in red!  She knows red is my favorite color.  :0)  And lookie, lookie!  A flower frog to put my scissors in!  I'm so excited!  AND wooden bobbins!  I've been wanting some of these for ages but never run across them.  She sent me some!  Woo of the Hoo!

Look at the little sheepie.  I didn't even realize that it was a tape measure.  Is that not the cutest thing ever?  I have to say Becky TOTALLY spoiled me with this awesome gift.  Thank you so, so much, Miss Becky.  I love EVERYTHING!!  Such a sweet card, too.  :0)

If you haven't had the pleasure of visiting Becky's blog, you're in for a treat. She's THE most talented creative stitcher and finisher I've ever known. Until I found her blog many years ago, all I ever did with my cross stitch was frame it. Her ideas and tutorials taught me to "think outside the box" when finishing my work, and the rest is history. :0) Be sure and check her out here, and tell her I sent you. :0)

It's giveaway time again real soon, so be sure and come back.  I will have it up for you to see and enter this weekend.  I think you'll like it.  :0)

Have a MOST wonderful weekend doing what you love with who you love.  :0)
