We have a lucky winner of the wonderful fat quarter bundle that Julie at Intrepid Thread so generously supplied for us. Mr. Random Generator picked the winner and the number he chose was 237, Melinda! I have yet to figure out how to copy a picture of the generator to show you the number that was picked, so I ask that you please take my word for it. Here is what Melinda said in her comment:

I would choose the yellow bundle. I don't do much with yellow but I love it. I would start by using some snippets of it for my Bottled Rainbows quilt!

Congratulations Melinda, and thank you again to Julie! Melinda, I have emailed you, so if you will please email me back with your mailing info, I will get these sent out to you ASAP.
Thank you to all that entered. I always wish I had enough to give to everyone. When I win the lotto (oh wait! You have to buy a ticket, right? LOL), I will do just that! ;)
Happy week to you and I'll be back in a few days with more to share.

YOOHOO!! Giveaway time again!
Since it's so hot and dry in Texas and I don't feel like doing anything that involves going outside, I think it's time for a giveaway. :) Sound good? Julie at Intrepid Thread has graciously sponsored a really, really nice giveaway for my readers. If you like fat quarter bundles, you're gonna love this giveaway. :) You really need to check out her blog. She is soooo creative, has a wonderful etsy shop (with great sales and terrific prices!) and giveaways all the time. Here is the beautiful eye candy that one lucky winner will win:
OR
It is called "Promenade" and it's by Riley Blake, one of my favorite designers. You likey? I sure do! You will have your choice of the yellow bundle or the purple bundle, and each one has 8 beautiful fat quarters!
How to win:
1. If you are not a follower of The Intrepid Thread, sign up to be one and come back and leave me a comment on this post telling me you did.
2. If you are not a follower of mine, sign up to be one and leave a comment telling me so.
3. Post about it on your blog and leave a comment stating you did.
4. Tell me which color you would choose and what you think you would make with these (cuz I love hearing what people like to make).
That's all you need to do. Easy as pie! I will keep this giveaway open until midnight CT on Sunday, 8/28/11, and will announce the winner's name on Monday. Please make each of the four requirements SEPARATE comments if you wish to have each entry counted. Also, PLEASE PLEASE make sure that I have a way to contact you. There are so many times that people will comment, etc., and they are "no-reply bloggers", so I can't reply back to them.
Okay, let the games begin! I hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead, and I look forward to seeing who the lucky winner is on Sunday. Good Luck!
Hugs from horribly, horribly hot and dry Texas,

What's up?
I just wanted to pop in and tell each of y'all that are so faithful to visit my blog that I love you to pieces and hope that you have a wonderful "rest of the week". It just makes me so stinkin' happy every time I see a comment from one of you. :) Then I have to head over and see what's going on in your world. (Doesn't take much to make me happy, does it? LOL)
Seriously, I love the fact that the internet has made our world so much smaller. I have friends in many different states and many different countries. No way would that have happened without our cyber world. I love all of my online friends so much and have made some wonderful lifelong friends. :)
Okay, enough of the mushy stuff. LOL I think I'll head to bed since I don't have any cool pictures or anything really productive to show you. I will, however, have something going on in a few days. Just sayin'........
Hugs and love from HOT AND DRY Texas (PLEASE send rain. My nekkid rain dances in the front yard have not worked so far!).

Pretty nice, huh? Head on over and sign up. You can't win if you don't sign up, right?

EDITED....What do you think?
Just thought I'd show you a picture of what I've been up to lately. I got this idea on another blog and was a woman on a mission until I got it done in my own sewing studio. I still have a little bit more to go in my cabinets, but this is just an idea. Whatcha' think?
I'm loving it all standing up like little bolts. I can finally see exactly what I have, AND when I need a piece, the whole stack doesn't end up on the floor. I guess by now if you've been a follower for awhile you know I'm sort of an organizing freak. I think I'm loving this.
For those that are wondering how I got the fabric to stand up like this, I used these:
I bought mine online, but I'm sure any comic book store would have them. They are like mini bolts and are just perfect for fabric. I wrap the fabric around them and then hold it together with a small pin. :)
Happy Monday!
