White Christmas...oh how I love this song. :)
Okay, I know it's just the beginning of November, but to me that's the best time to work on my Christmas gifts and projects. If I don't get started even before now, it just doesn't all get done. Jodie from Fort Worth Fabric Studio is sponsoring a wonderful giveaway this week (thank you, Jodie!), so one lucky winner will be adding this lovely fat quarter bundle to their Christmas stash. Here is what you will receive:
Pretty, huh? 14 fat quarters! I think it's a beautiful selection that coordinates so perfectly. :) You could make something really nice with this bundle.
FWFS has some beautiful fabrics to choose from, some great fat quarter bundles and LOTS of sale pages. Jodie has a great eye for putting bundles together. They also have an Interactive Design Wall that you can use to make sure what you are ordering matches. I LOVE this feature. :) Their shipping is lightning fast, and the customer service is awesome!
To enter this giveaway, there are only a few things to do.
Required:
1. You must be a follower of my blog.
2. Go here and sign up for FWFS newsletter OR go here and follow FWFS blog. Come back here and tell me you did so.
For extra entries:
3. Tell me what you will make if you win this bundle. (love your ideas!)
4. Just for fun, I'd love to hear a favorite Christmas tradition that you do in your family.
5. If you would like another entry, either post this information on your blog, twitter or facebook (only one, please) and come back and let me know.
So you have 5 chances if you choose to do them all. :)
That's it. I hope you will play along with us. You can sign up for this giveaway until Saturday, November 5, midnight central time. I will announce the lucky winner on Sunday. BTW, don't forget to set your clocks BACK an hour this Saturday. YAY! We get an extra hour of sleep!
PLEASE, please leave me a way to contact you if you don't have a blog.
We've had the flu going on at our house so not much creativity going on to show right now. Hopefully in the next few days I'll have something to share.
I hope y'all have a great week, and be sure and sign up! Many thanks to all of you that visit. I so love it when you stop by. Please come again soon. I just love visitors! ;)
Love and hugs from Texas,

I don't have any Christmas quilts- so I would need to make a throw for my couch to liven up the room:)
We are pretty informal at my house. The only tradition we have is that I always make a double or triple batch of sausage biscuits on Christmas morning. I make a lot so that we can just snack on them throughout the day. We only do formal dinner for Thanksgiving:) Thanks for offering the chance to win great fabrics!

Christmas Tradition - they seem to have gone by the wayside since my Mom passed, but usually mid January after all the hubbub is done, we have a "cousins Christmas" at my Dad's. He has an indoor pool and we get all the kids together to have Christmas again, with a pool and pizza party - hopefully looking out into the snow!
I would LOVE to win - I would make new stockings for my son and I, and our new shelter kitty :)
I follow your blog!
I get the FWFS newsletter and I follow their blog. Love their fabrics!
I would love to use these fabrics for Christmas table runners. Runners are my favorite quick gift and everyone can use one -- or several!
When my husband was a kid Christmas morning used to involve a treasure hunt for one special gift. Hidden clues would lead them around the house (and once even to the neighbors' house) so the suspense really got them excited. We also did this with our son when he was little. Now he's grown and we will have to wait for grandchildren to do it again. That's still a ways off.

I think I'd make a table runner/topper for either my grandma's table or mine. Thanks for sharing!
hmm... we always open one present on Christmas Eve. It used to be fun to see my kids anticipation when they were younger. Now they're teenagers (or as my boss calls them - aliens), so its not as much fun because they aren't as easily impressed by little gifts. Oh well, the memories are still there. :0)
Ohhh nice! I follow your blog!
I already receive FWFS newsletter.
I follow you. thanks.
I would make a wall hanging that on alternate years would be a nice table topper.. (square) sweet!
Our newest Christmas tradition is that we decorate our tree in Red, White and Blue ever since 9/11/01 and have continued that tradition each year since.

My favorite tradition is to sit and read the story of Christ's birth from the Bible, sing a carol and pray, before we open gifts.

I would make a Christmas table runner.
If I won this fabric I'd make a happy Christamas quilt.
My favorite Christmas tradition is the giving of birthday gifts and singing the hpy birthday song to our savior Jesus Christ. The gifts are always handed out as we are eating dessert following Christmas dinner. My mom collects ornaments all year long, one for each of the 20 something members of our extended family. The ornament reflects something special to the recipient.
I would make a table topper or tree skirt!
We like to look at Christmas lights on the houses around town - there are a couple of houses that are a MUST!
Every year my 4 sisters, my mom, our kids, and myself get together and have a baking day to prepare for Christmas. We make all kinds of cookies, candy, and yummies!
I shared this giveaway and blog on Facebook! :o)

I saw a really cute snowman quilt that used scrappy Xmas prints. I would love to make that if I won this.
We are a blended family-so our traditions aren't very old. The only thing I can think of that we do is have a Christmas buffet and the family begins to arrive around noon. Once all grandkids are present the opening of the presents begins.

One of family traditions is about the movie, White CHristmaS. We always watch it on the first snow day when the kids are home from school. Love it.

Unfortunately, all my favorite Christmas traditions are no longer since my grandmother passed away. Last year we took the boys to a local farm to look at the marvelous Christmas light displays. I am thinking that Christmas light "hunting" might be our new tradition!!!
I'm thinking it'd be nice to make a patchwork Christmas Tree wall hanging. Something we could put up every year - a tradition!

Oh, a tradition? The only one we have so far is to go to my family's place for Christmas dinner. I've been married for almost 9 years, have 3 kiddos, but we still don't have a tradition for OUR Christmas. I'll keep reading your comments for traditions, maybe they'll spur me to start something this year!
On Christmas we eat special food (oyster soup, venison stew, pieroges) and enjoy spending time with our family!

If I won, I would probably make my little granddaughter a scrappy skirt to wear for Christmas. If I'm selfish, I'd make myself some mug rugs. LOL
Our family tradition is just to find one day that we can have Christmas together. It's hard with everyone's work schedules, but we always manage to have our Christmas together even if it's not on Christmas Day or Christmas Eve. Being together is what matters.
My mom used to always give me a box of chocolate covered cherries, and now my son does this to keep the tradition going.
I would love to make a table runner with this Christmas fabric.
I tweeted the giveaway.

One of our Christmas traditions is we hide a pickle ornament on our tree Christmas Eve. The first child to find it Christmas morning gets to open the first present.
If I won, this would make some fabulous table runners for Christmas gifts.

We hide the pickle in the tree.
It is one of the smartest looking Christmas bundle of FQ's I have seen..14 would be quilt worthy but I have seen recently some very handsome table mats with napkins sporting a coordinating border..I think I am inclined to go that way because it will be very handy for the season's celebrations.
I follow your blog.

I have 3 ideas in mind: Christmas tree skirt, table runner, and holiday placemats. I will have to wait until I can see the fabrics in person in order to know what they are calling me to do :)
Tradition...let me think, sweating over the stove, does that count?
