EDITED....What do you think?

Just thought I'd show you a picture of what I've been up to lately.  I got this idea on another blog and was a woman on a mission until I got it done in my own sewing studio.  I still have a little bit more to go in my cabinets, but this is just an idea.  Whatcha' think?

I'm loving it all standing up like little bolts.  I can finally see exactly what I have, AND when I need a piece, the whole stack doesn't end up on the floor.  I guess by now if you've been a follower for awhile you know I'm sort of an organizing freak.  I think I'm loving this.

For those that are wondering how I got the fabric to stand up like this, I used these:

I bought mine online, but I'm sure any comic book store would have them.  They are like mini bolts and are just perfect for fabric.  I wrap the fabric around them and then hold it together with a small pin.  :)
Happy Monday!

WOW--it looks so great. I googled the boards and think I am going to try it too. Maybe when I am able to see my fabric I'll be more inspired to get to creating. Thanks for the motivational post!

Love it, but every time I consider doing this with my stash, I think about how many hours it would take. Your shelves look so pretty!

I have made a blog at blogger.com Since i have added a google adsense in the blog but haven't made a penny with this. I need your help and support to help me make some money to PAY MY Tuition Fees.

What you have to do is follow these simple steps

1.go to Bin.com and search "Kwotz-Golden Words of Life"
2.then visit my blog from the the search results.
3.Remain on the page i.e Kwotz for one minute or so and do some random surfing
4. click ONE of the ads that appeals to you from AdChoices and visit there.
5.remain on that page for one minute or so and do some random surfing.
and that's it.

Note:Visit my blog from Bing.com. Only ONE click is asked and nothing else
I will be very grateful to you.

This looks fabulous! Such a great idea. I'll have to keep this in mind when I move and hopefully get my own crafting room. :D Seriously this would work so much better than keeping the fabric in bins or drawers.

Great Job!

I LOVE this idea!

When the basement flooded 3 years ago, and we had to have things rebuilt, we had a nook carved out under the stairs for me to store my fabric. It's triangular in shape, but we haven't gotten the shelves put in yet, because it's not square, and it involves a bit of geometry. But eventually, I'll have my fabric in there. This would make things look so nice! I'm bookmarking this page, so I don't forget it!
