Merry Christmas from Texas!

I just wanted to take this time to wish each and every one of my blogging friends a very Merry Christmas and a most wonderful New Year!

This has been a very rough year for me, but I've got my mind set that 2010 will be different. I have so many plans that I've written down - not New Year's resolutions. I break those before January 1st is over with. LOL These are either things I want to ADD to my life or release from my life. One thing that I've decided to add is more charity work. I feel that God has given me the gift of creativity. I need to use it to help others, whether it be stitching a square for a quilt, making wheelchair caddys for the nursing home residents or making quilts for the sweet babies that need them. So that is the main thing I will be adding this year. Small, but hopefully meaningful. I also intend to give away more. I have been blessed with so much that I feel that I should share it with others. So there will be giveaways as soon as I have time to go through my things and get them together. This will happen after the new year, too.

I haven't been good at blogging this year, but I hope to do better next year. Life does get in the way, and blogging seems to get pushed on the back burner. I know it happens with all of us from time to time. I hope to do better.

I want to thank each and every one of you that have become my friends, and that includes all of you that read or comment or just lurk. You are all very special to me. It's amazing how close one can become to someone that you never have and probably never will set eyes on. Stitchers and quilters are such wonderfully loving and giving people. I am blessed to be a part of that group. Thank you for the emails to check up on me, the sweet comments and emails when my Mom passed away, when you don't see me blogging or just to say hello. You are all wonderful! Thank you for the inspiration I receive in reading YOUR blogs. Soooooo many creative people out there, which results in enabling. hmmmmm...... And I'm easily enabled. LOL

Merry Christmas, my friends. You are all a wonderful gift to me!

No more news on the homefront except that two trees are up and decorated, the outside looks like National Lampoon Christmas Vacation and I'm working on the other trees, the mantel and getting out the dishes tomorrow. I will try to get some pictures when it's all finished.
