Hello everyone,
Just a quick note to say that I've decided to extend the contest until Tuesday evening due to the holiday weekend. There were so many that were out of town and didn't have a chance, and I was busy as a bee, too.
Sooooo, I will randomly draw a name Tuesday evening and post the winner here. I will also email the winner if there is an address available. Please don't enter on this post, but the one below.
Thanks so much!
Carolyn

Wanna Play??? :)
First of all, Happy Thanksgiving to all of my American readers and followers. I hope tomorrow is filled with family, friends and many blessings (not to mention tons of food! LOL). We will be staying at home as both DH and I are sick, but we still have many blessings to be thankful for.
My blogoversary came and went due to the fact that I've had the flu. BUT, that is to your advantage, because during that time I would keep adding things to the box. LOL Soooooo, even though it's late, I'm still going to celebrate my two years of being a part of blogland. I can't even begin to thank all of you that have become faithful readers and dear, dear friends, all because of this little, ole blog. You are all so very special to me even though we will most probably never meet face to face. I've had blogging friends pray for me, as I have for them, rejoice with me, as I have with them, cry with me, as I have with them, etc. Who says you have to know someone in "person" to be close to them? Not me!!! No way....
So to celebrate all of my dear friends, this is a picture of what you will receive. I have some cross stitch and some quilting things, as I have both as readers, and they are both my passion. Are you ready? All I ask of you is two things. One is that you are a follower of my blog, but the most important is that when you post ON THIS POST ONLY that you say one thing that you are thankful for. That's it. Easy peasy!
Still want to see a picture? LOL I know, I know, I'm being a tease. Okay, here ya go:

I think the picture is clickable for a larger view. Does any of this interest you?
Well, what are you waiting for??? ENTER!!! on this post only, please, and I will randomly draw a name on Sunday evening after all the Thanksgiving festivities and shopping and decorating are done. Work for you?? :) Who knows, I will probably be adding more to it in the meantime. LOL
Okay, I know there are alot of you that are dying to see the "after" of my sewing room. Give me just one more week. It's almost there. I've been working like a dog getting it set up, and y'all are going to be happy to hear that there are going to be more giveaways. As I've been sorting and putting away, etc, I've also been purging. Yep, bad word I know, but hey! You will be getting a chance to have some of this TOTALLY. RIDICULOUS. AMOUNT. OF. STASH. There! I said it. Ridiculous, I tell ya. Like a dang store around here. LOL So hang with me for just another week and I promise to show you pictures of my now "to die for" sewing/craft studio.
Guess what? I already knew that my neighbors Elaine and Jo were awesome, but they've gone over and above now. They have a long arm quilting machine (they actually use theirs....I don't know how to use mine yet) and Joe does all the quilting and Elaine does the piecing. Well, I was down their visiting the other day and Elaine said that Joe was bored and didn't have any quilt tops to quilt. I jumped on that so fast people's heads were going around and around (picture the Exorcist). I "meekly" (NOT, I've never been meek a second in my life!) said, "Well uhm, er, I have a few at my house that I've had for years that would love to be quilted, but uhm....I would hate for you to have to do that." Well, long story short, I now have two quilts QUILTED and my Christmas one is getting done as I type. Does that totally rock or WHAT? All I have to do now is put the binding on and I actually will have finished QUILTS instead of just tops. WOOOHOOOOO!!! I'm a happy dancing gal. Yeah buddy. uh huh ohhhhh yeah! LOL I will save the pictures of those when I have gotten the binding on them. I'm just so excited I could spit, but I'm a Suthun lady and we don't do that, do we? ;)
Okay, I'm going to close for tonight. Don't forget to follow the rules and sign up on this post only for the giveaway if you are interested.
And thank you.....thank you for being there, for coming back when I'm not consistent about being here, for understanding when I'm not in the blogging frame of mind and most of all for being such wonderful friends. I love you all more than you know!
I wish you enough,
Love and hugs,
Carolyn
