I've been doing alot of stitching but only have one thing that I can share at the moment. This is my Winter Exchange for Cathy from the Seasonal Exchange board. It is called "Signs of Winter" and is by Bent Creek. I decided to decorate the top of a photo album with it.

Here is a picture of everything that I sent her. I usually forget to take this picture.

I also pulled out an old WIP (sorry, no picture) that I'm bound and determined to finish this year and give to Kevin. I started it in 2004 when I thought he was going to be playing baseball in college. Then he gave baseball up for a year and I stopped stitching on it. Now that he is in his third and last year, I'd like to finish it for him. The only thing I hate about it is that it's on aida. I HATE STITCHING ON AIDA. I feel like I'm hooking a rug. But too much is done to start over and anyway, it was a kit (Baseball Nostalgia). Anyway, long story short, what I've decided to do is always take that piece with me for my hotel stitching after the games. I always take stitching, but never that piece. Also, if I don't get to go to a game, and have to listen to it at home on the internet, I will sit here and stitch on it. Discipline, huh? I WILL FINISH THIS PIECE. Actually, it's an awesome piece...I just literally hate aida. If it weren't for that, it would have been finished a long time ago.
I've been working on some WIPS, started about five new things, and thanks to our dear friend VONNNNNNA, have a smoking Visa from buying fabric. Thanks, girlfriend. OMGosh, when I went over to Sassy's and saw the fabric you were talking about, I HAD to buy the 5 piece pack. BEEEEEAUTIFUL colors and lightning fast shippping. THEN, some lady on 123 stitch told us about an ebay seller that had great prices and colors on R & R 40 count. Well, I was just going to look, mind you....just look. Yeah right. I had to grab the fire extinguisher and order a new card! LOL I joined the BBD Loose Feathers Club at Needlecraft Corner, so that kit came, and I still had my birthday and Christmas gift certificates (still have one more), so I've been having wonderful mail days. Woohoooo! (That explains some of the new starts. I have no will power at all).
We are leaving early in the morning to go to Waco, TX for a baseball tournament at Baylor University. I will get to see my baby!!!! Shannon and Kaylabug are staying in our room (YEAH!!), so I'll get some good LaLa time. Speaking of Kayla, I can't post without adding a few new pictures of my little buglet. Here ya go:

This outfit is so cute. The top says: "Does this diaper make my butt look big?" LOL

And then of course, our little Diva:

Her mom took these last weekend when Kevin was out of town playing baseball.
Okay, I think I've remembered most everything. We are packed and ready to go. I'm ready to leave now! LOL I'm ready for the games BIG TIME and of course, can't wait to see Kevin, Shannon and buglet. I've baked and made my famous crackers and my back and feet hurt, but I did it to myself. I started it three years ago, and the boys have come to expect food, food and more food. Who am I kidding? I love every minute of doing it. I miss those days when Kevin and his buds would always come over knowing there would be "good stuff" to munch on. That was my reward for being a stay at home mom and I wouldn't trade one second of it.
Okay, 'nuff said. I hope ya'll are still awake. I have some questions about how to do a few things to my blog, so I may be asking for help next week when I get back in town. Wish us luck! We are playing two teams out of Illinois and then Baylor, so we'd like to win a few, but these are great teams and we are a small school.
Hugs, love, and wishes for tons of stitching time to my few faithful readers,
Carolyn
