FINALLY!! A Stitched Finished to Share with You!

I really, REALLY have been stitching, I just haven't had fnishes to show. I DO have another finish, but it's for my Autumn Exchange and hasn't been sent yet, so I can't share it. BUT, while we are talking about finishes, I want to share Kayla's Baby Sampler with you. This came in a kit by MIL Butternut Road. I must admit that I have never in my ENTIRE LIFE frogged as much on ANY project as I have on this one, and I don't really know why. Anyway, without further ado....Kayla's Baby Sampler:

I also wanted to share that I got to spend a few hours with my baby girl last weekend, and even though we didn't get too many pictures, this one was one of my favorite. Notice her John Deere dress and bow. What a hoot!

And the best news of all is that we are leaving tomorrow for 4 whole days with my baby girl, and of course Shannon and Kevin, too! I'm just so excited to get to actually spend some quality time with them. It's been quite awhile since we've been able to do that.

When I come home, the work begins. Normally by now, I'm nearly halfway finished. I put at least one Christmas tree in each room and I hope to be able to get it done this year. My all time favorite tree is the one we put in the family room. It's a full sized tree completely covered with nothing but cross stitched ornaments. It's taken many years, lots of stitching and lots of friends to fill it up, but I so enjoy decorating that one. Each and every ornament has such a special place in my heart. So I will be starting and hopefully finishing that one on Monday,

ANYWHO, I wanted to share Kayla's sampler, and let my few blogger friends know that I'm still alive and kicking. Gosh, I wish I was one of those people that got tons of comments. Maybe I should hold a contest or something. Just kidding. I hope each and every one of you has a fantastic Thanksgiving (if you celebrate it) with your family and friends and get lots of stitching in over the weekend.

Gobbles and hugs,
Carolyn :)
