Then she spoiled me even further with a box full of goodies! Look what all she included:

Pretty cool, huh? Fabrics, and fibers and a cutie pie wooden flag and a tin. This will all go so perfectly on my Americana shelf that I keep out all year long. Thank you so much, Miss Heather. You made my day!
In other news, I've been sick as a dog for the last two weeks and have finally come back among the living. I literally felt like I had been run over by a semi for about a week. I'm not back to 100%, but I'm at least functioning and feel like stitching. I'm in one of those "I want to start stuff moods". Ever been in one of those? I just have all these cool things that I want to start. I did start a small SB Patriotic kit last night and will probably finish it up tonight. I'm not sure how I'll finish it off. I'll have to think about that.
I've also been working on getting ready for the "Great Stash Sale/Trade/Clear Out of 2007. I've decided that it's WAY past time. My tastes have changed dramatically over the years and besides....I want new stuff. I need to make a wish list. I'm such a fiber and fabric junkie that I just can't seem to get enough of it. Maybe when I die they can make some sort of shroud out of all my linen and evenweave and bury me in it. I am taking it with me if it kills me. LOL
Oh, I did do another one of those quickie Pine Mountain pillows the other day. Here is a picture of it:

I would probably enjoy these more if they weren't stitched on aida. I feel like I'm hooking a rug when I stitch on 14 count. Ohhh....and I forgot I had another finish I can share with you now.
My sweetie friend, Chris had a birthday and of course I was late with her gift. This is what I stitched for her. She collects pigs, so I stitched Bent Creeks's "Hog" for her and made it into a pinkeep.

And if you can stand it, I have one more finish to share with you. This is by Lisa Cowell. I just love her charts.

The picture doesn't do the colors justice. My scanner isn't very good
but you can get the idea. It was fun stitch and I have several more of her charts in my stash to do one day.
I keep saying I'm going to do better with my blogging, but that doesn't seem to be happening. For those of you that visit and comment, I do so appreciate it. It makes me want to blog more. LOL
I hope your week is going well, and thanks for stopping by!
Hugs,
Carolyn :)
